Kính lạy Đức Chúa Trời: Con cảm ơn Chúa đã dạy con rằng cần phải có sự trông cậy mới có thể yên lặng được trong khi hoàn cảnh đòi hỏi mình phải la ó um sùm; cần phải có sự tin tưởng mới có thể lặng yên buông thả cái gì đó trong khi hoàn cảnh đòi hỏi mình phải nắm chặt giữ lấy ai đó hay điều gì. Con cảm ơn Chúa đã cho con biết rằng chỉ khi nào con bình tịnh--ấy là buông thả trong yên lặng sự gắng gượng của con--thì con mới thật sự kinh nghiệm được Ngài là Đức Chúa Trời của con. Con cảm ơn Chúa Giê-su đã đem con đến điểm này để nhắc con lời Chúa dạy rằng khi đối diện với huống cảnh con cần phải kiên trì bình tịnh tin cậy Ngài càng hơn (Giăng 14:1). Lạy Chúa! Xin giúp con áp dụng điều con học hôm nay vào trong lối sống của mình để con có thể buông thả một cách bình tịnh điều gì con đang tin cậy để tin cậy vào Đấng đáng được tin cậy của con--là chính Ngài. Lạy Chúa Giê-su, con cũng xin rằng ai đó đang căng thẳng hay hãi hùng hay đơn chiếc trong cuộc sống mình sẽ tìm đến với Ngài và chịu bình tâm buông thả gánh nặng của mình để Chúa mang hộ. Hôm nay. Amen

Dear Lord God: I thank You for teaching me that it takes trust to remain silent when the situation demands yelling and crying out; it takes faith to silently let go of something when the situation demands holding on and grasping firm. I thank You for letting me know that only when I stay still--remaining silent and letting go of my grasp--will I experience that You are my true God. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching about staying calm in troubled times by keeping believing in You (John 14:1). O Lord! Please help me put this learning into my living today to silently let go of something I trust in order to trust in the trustworthy One--that is You. I also pray for someone today who may be distressed or frightened or lonesome to come to You to let You carry the heavy loads for him or her. Yes, today. Amen

Cám ơn Chúa, dù muộn màng vẫn còn hơn không, gần cuối cuộc đời Ngài đã giúp con dần buông tay khỏi "cái giỏ" của gánh nặng cuộc đời (Thi 81:6), để con được chiêm nghiệm một điều: "Phải chi sớm hơn!". Vì thế, con cầu xin Chúa Thánh Linh, giúp anh em con mau chóng buông bỏ những điều gây vấn vương trên bước đường theo Chúa, cứ nhắm mục đích mà chạy vì Chúa sẽ đón chúng con ở cuối đường! Amen!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Question #525: God is sovereign and controls all things both spiritual and physical. When we are still and calm, we know and are sure and certain that He is God. And because He is sovereign and always calms the spiritual and physical storms that happen in our lives, we are at peace.
ReplyDeleteMark 4:39 - And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Isaiah 26:3 - You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Isaiah 32:17 - And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.
Psalm 89:9 - You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, you still them.
Dear Sovereign, Loving Heavenly Father, thank you for calming the spiritual and physical storms in our lives, keeping us in Your precious, perfect peace. Our hearts are still because of You alone and we believe that Jesus Christ is our Peace.
