* Câu hỏi #540: Có thể nào chỉ có dẫn đường không thôi sẽ giúp Đa-vít lên được vầng đá cao hơn ông không?
IV. Áp dụng
Kính lạy Đức Chúa Trời: con cảm ơn Chúa đã cho con biết rằng Đa-vít muốn lên trên vầng đá vốn dĩ cao hơn ông. Dẫn đường không thôi không thể nào thỏa đáp được nhu cầu của Đa-vít. Dẫn ông đi trong toàn vẹn ý nghĩa của sự mang ông đến rồi còn đặt chân ông lên trên vầng đá cao vời đó mới chính thật là nhu cầu của Đa-vít lúc bấy giờ. Con cảm ơn Chúa đã chỉ cho con thấy gương mẫu của một đời sống khiêm nhu ấy là hoàn toàn tùy thuộc vào Ngài. Con cảm ơn Chúa Giê-su đã đem con đến điểm này để nhắc con rằng Đức Chúa Trời chí cao đã bỏ tất cả để trở thành một em bé--là chính Ngài-- và tùy thuộc hoàn toàn vào sự chăm sóc của cha mẹ trần gian (Lưu-ca 2:4-7). Lạy Chúa! Xin giúp con biết áp dụng bài học này vào trong lối sống của con hôm nay để con sẽ nương cậy hoàn toàn vào Ngài để Ngài dẫn dắt, mang đến và đặt để con nơi nào Chúa đẹp lòng. Con cũng cầu xin cho người nào đó có thể lắm đang cố gắng hết sức mình để ráng đạt cho được một cái gì đó cao hơn mình sẽ biết đến cùng Ngài để khiêm nhường xin Chúa giúp đỡ tất cả cho mình. Amen

IV. Application
Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me know that David wanted to be up on the rock which was higher than he. Leading alone could not do it. Leading in a complete sense, bringing him there and then putting him securely on top of the rock. I thank You for showing me a model of humility that completely relied on You. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that the supreme God reduced Himself to the point of a baby--You--who depended, absolutely and completely, on the care of the early parents (Luke 2:4-7). O Lord! Please help put this learning into my living today so that I can completely depend on You through leading, bringing, and putting me where it pleases You. I also pray for someone who may be trying his or her very best to achieve something higher than her or him to come to You to humbly ask for Your complete help. Amen

Cám ơn Chúa vì Lời Ngài sáng nay nhắc con về sự chăm sóc diệu kỳ của Ngài trên đời sống con, Ngài đã dẫn dắt, cưu mang và cho con ngày một hiểu biết Chúa nhiều hơn qua những thử thách, ngay cả bệnh tật. Ngài đã cho con bình an tgrong sự nương cậy Ngài, dù thể xác có yếu lần đi theo năm tháng, nhưng tâm linh con ngày một lớn lên, sức lục Chúa ban càng hơn (Thi 81:7) để bước lên Si ôn thờ phượng và gặp Ngài. Amen!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Question #540 on Psalm 61:2: The Bible teaches that God is sovereign over everything. His way is perfect. He is not limited to any geographical location. God never abandons us. A "higher" rock would be a place of refuge and safety. David knew in his heart that God's all-surpassing strength would always be with him. God's leading would be more than sufficient. Scripture gives so many examples of God's leading to safety and security in physical and spiritual life.

Dear Holy, Faithful, Sovereign, Leading Heavenly Father.
We thank you for leading us beside still waters and in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake (Psalm 23). Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). For that we praise the name of the Lord.
