Luôn luôn đến Thường thường đi...

II. Một điều Kinh Thánh dạy: (tác giả đã cầu nguyện xin Chúa giải cứu, rằng...)

3 Xin Chúa làm hòn đá dùng làm chỗ ở cho con, Hầu cho con được vào đó luôn luôn; Chúa đã ra lịnh cứu con, Vì Chúa là hòn đá và là đồn lũy con.

III.

Amen

Coming continually Leaving occasionally...

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (the author prayed for God's deliverance, saying...)

Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come;

You have given the command to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress.

III. Reflection

* Question #550: How can a person come to someone or something continually?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that unless a person stays with the rock of refuge indefinitely, coming continually involves leaving occasionally. Even so, You always took me in whenever I came back to seek a place of protection. I thank You, God, for being patient with me! I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching that You are the only way to come to the Father (John 14:6). O Lord! Please help me put this learning into my living today to come to You unhesitatingly and unashamedly even at times I have left the rock of my refuge for the world. I pray also for someone who may not know that there is a rock of refuge--You Lord--to come and stay. Today. Amen

Answer to Question #550: The Bible teaches that in faith a person comes to someone or something continually for protection and healing, both physical and spiritual. This happened numerous times during Jesus' ministry. There is the case of the woman suffering from an issuance of blood for 12 years. She continually sought healing but it was only when she reached out in faith and touched Jesus' cloak that she was healed. Another case concerned a man covered with leprosy. Being "covered" with the disease implies that he was ill for a very long time. In faith, he reached out to Jesus and was healed. In the case of the paralytic, his friends were trying to get him healed. In faith, his friends let him down through the roof where Jesus was healing. Jesus healed the man. A final example concerns a Samaritan woman who knew that the Messiah was coming. But she didn't know when He would come until Jesus revealed Himself to her at the well. How amazing that Jesus at first presented Himself a thirsty man and finished as the Messiah!

Matthew 9:20-22 - And a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve-years, came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak; for she was saying to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will get well.” But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well." At once the woman was made well.

Luke 5:12-13 - While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.

Luke 5:18-20, - And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him. But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven you.” Luke 5:24-25 - "But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,”—He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home.” Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.

John 4:25-26 - The woman said to Him, “I know that the Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

Dear Loving, Helping, Compassionate, Protecting and Healing Heavenly Father,

We know that we must constantly pray to You as Your precious Son Jesus taught His disciples as mentioned in Luke 18:1 - Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart. Thank you, Lord for teaching us to pray continually in faith to you for spiritual and physical healing.

    In Jesus' precious name,
