IV. Áp dụng
Kính lạy Đức Chúa Trời: Con cảm ơn Chúa đã nhắc con rằng con là kẻ khốn cùng và thiếu thốn đã được nhắc đến như vua Đa-vít cũng đã từng xưng nhận. Con cảm ơn Chúa đã cho con biết rằng cho dù trong nghịch cảnh của sự thiếu thốn không ai muốn ca tụng Ngài cả nhưng đó chính là điều họ cần phải làm trước nhất và trên hết bởi vì nó dẫn đến Ngài (Thi 100:4)--và rồi đến những sự khác nữa. Con cảm ơn Chúa đã dẫn con đến điểm này để nhắc con về lời Ngài dạy rằng nếu con không ca khen cảm tạ Chúa thì ngay cả đá sỏi cũng sẽ mở miệng làm (Lưu-ca 19:40). Lạy Chúa Cha là Chúa của trời đất! Xin giúp con biết áp dụng bài học này vào trong lối sống của con hôm nay để con ca ngợi Ngài cho dù sự thiếu thốn của con đang làm con lưu tâm đến những việc khác. Con cũng cầu xin cho người nào đó có thể lắm không biết tầm quan trọng của sự tìm kiếm Ngài trước tiên trong những nhu cầu của mình sẽ tìm Ngài. Hôm nay. Amen

IV. Application
Dear Lord God: I thank You for reminding me that I am the mentioned poor and needy as was king David. I thank You for letting me know that although the last thing the poor and needy would want to do is to praise You, that is exactly what they should do first and foremost because it leads to You (Ps. 100:4)--then to everything else. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching that if we don't praise You even the stones will (Luke 19:40). O Father and Lord of heavens and earth! Please help me put this learning into my living today to praise You first even when my needy state steers my attention to other things. I also pray for someone who may not know the importance of seeking You first among the needs in life to do so. Today. Amen

Cám ơn Chúa, trong cơn khốn cùng Ngài vẫn ban bình an cho tôi tớ Ngài ca ngợi Chúa, cảm tạ Ngài trong mọi sự bởi đó là ý muốn tốt lành của Ngài (I The sa 5:18).Nguyện kẻ bị hà hiếp chớ trở về hổ thẹn; Nguyện kẻ khốn cùng và người thiếu thốn ngợi khen danh Chúa. (Thi 74: 21). Amen!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Question #553: The Bible teaches that the poor and needy are those folks who have physical and spiritual needs. The first thing that they should do is to humble themselves before the Lord, and call on His name for His salvation, assistance and guidance.

Psalm 9:9 - The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Psalm 35:10 - All my bones shall say, “O Lord, who is like you, delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him, the poor and needy from him who robs him?”
Psalm 68:10b - in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy.
Psalm 86:1 - Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
Philippians 4:19 - And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
James 2:5 - Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Dear Gracious, Loving, Providing, Protecting, Merciful, Compassionate Heavenly Father,
In faith and humility and with contented thankfulness to You the loving creator and provider Heavenly Father, we praise the name of the Lord and thank You for Your goodness, unfailing love, faithfulness and Your help and guidance and patience.
