Kính lạy Đức Chúa Trời: con cảm ơn Chúa đã cho con biết rằng Chúa đang tể trị toàn cõi vũ trụ cùng với mọi vật thọ tạo trong đó. Biết rằng chính Chúa định thì giờ cho mọi sự việc trong đời này làm cho chúng con cảm thấy thật là dễ chịu và rất bình an. Đây là điều khiến mình có thể ngừng lại, lấy hơi, thư giản trước khi lại tiếp tục hành trình của cuộc sống. Con cảm ơn Chúa Giê-su đã đem con đến điểm này để nhắc con rằng biết được Chúa là người Chăn hiền lành (Giăng 10:14) sẽ giúp mình sống thật bình tâm vì Ngài biết chiên mình rất rõ. Lạy Chúa! xin giúp con biết áp dụng bài học này vào trong lối sống của con hôm nay để con có thể ngơi nghỉ trong sự tin cậy Ngài bởi Ngài đang toàn quyền tể trị! Con cũng cầu nguyện cho người nào đó có thể lắm hiện chưa biết Ngài là người Chăn hiền lành để hiến dâng đời sống mình làm chiên của Chúa để nếm trải sự ngơi nghỉ sê-la (ngày 482) trong cuộc sống mình. Hôm nay. Amen

Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me know that You are in full control of Your universe and Your creation within it. Knowing that You appoint a set time for everything in this life is very comforting and very assuring. It is something that can cause us to pause, take a deep breath, and relax before moving on with the journey of life. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that knowing that You are the good shepherd (John 10:14) should give us relieving rest because You know Your sheep well. O Lord! Please help put this learning into my living today to rest trustingly in You for You are in control! I also pray for someone who may not know You as the good shepherd to dedicate his or her life to be Your lamb to experience the selah rest (day 482) in this life. Today. Amen

Cám ơn Chúa, Ngài là nơi yên nghỉ của con khi con tin cậy và nương theo Ngài mọi lúc mọi nơi vì Ngài là "Chúa của ngày Sa-bát” (Ma-thi-ơ 12:8). Trong biển đời đầy sóng gió nầy, chỉ có mình Ngài là nơi yên nghỉ cho con đời nầy và đời đời. Xin cho con "nghỉ", các công việc của xác thịt như tham lam. vị kỷ, phê phán (Hê 4:10) ... để thực sự cảm nhận được sự bình an. Amen!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Question #554 - The Bible teaches that a Selah or rest is appropriate here for two reasons: As a musical term, it allows the author, Asaph, to take a breath in the music before moving on to the next stanza, verses 4 through 10. Secondly, it causes the reader to rest or wait or pause and to focus on God's statement in verse 3 that He is going to keep the earth's pillars steady as He prepares to judge with equity.

Habakkuk 2:3 - For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
Dear Gracious, Merciful, Loving, Kind, Patient Heavenly Father,
You are sovereign and in complete control. You will judge with equity. We must pause and pray in your mighty powerful name.
