Kính lạy Đức Chúa Trời: con cảm ơn Chúa đã cho con biết rằng đối diện với sự thạnh nộ của Chúa thật là hãi hùng. Chúa phừng cơn thạnh nộ của Ngài khi chúng con thờ phượng ai khác hay vật gì khác ngoài Ngài, là Chúa có một (1 Các Vua 14:9). Không ai có thể đứng nổi trước mặt Chúa trong cơn giận của Ngài. Con cảm ơn Chúa Giê-su đã đem con đến điểm này để nhắc con rằng Chúa nổi giận và sầu buồn khi lòng người ta cứng cỏi không chịu tin nơi Ngài (Mác 3:5). Lạy Chúa! Xin giúp con biết áp dụng bài học này vào trong lối sống của con hôm nay để con không cứng đầu trước sự dạy dỗ hay nhắc nhở của Ngài bởi vì cơn thạnh nộ của Chúa thật rất hãi hùng. Con cũng cầu nguyện cho người nào đó có thể lắm hiện đang không biết sự hãi hùng của cơn giận Ngài để mà mềm lòng vui nhận lời Chúa mời gọi đến làm dân sự của Chúa. Hôm nay. Amen

Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me know that it is quite fearful when You are angry; You are angry when we worship anyone else or anything else other than You, the One God (1 Kings 14:9). No one can stand when your anger is roused! I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that You got angry and grieved when people's hearts were hard refusing to believe You (Mark 3:5). O Lord! Please help me to put this learning into my living today to not be stubborn at Your teaching or reminding because no one can stand Your anger. I also pray for someone today who may not know the fearfulness of Your anger to yield to Your inviting call to be Your people. Today. Amen

Cám ơn Chúa vì sự nhân từ Ngài không thôi, không dứt trên đời sống con, cho nên khi con làm hoặc nghĩ hoặc nói lời sai quấy, xin Thánh Linh Chúa cáo trách, nhắc nhỡ hầu con kịp thời ăn năn trước mặt Chúa, để con không khinh lờn sự nhân từ Chúa, khiến Chúa nổi giận cùng con. Xin cho con nhớ Lời Chúa sáng nay rằng: "Chính mình Chúa thật là đáng sợ; Cơn giận Chúa vừa nổi lên, ai đứng nổi trước mặt Chúa?" (Thi 76:7). Amen!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Question #555 - The Bible teaches that there are numerous things that cause God to be angry. For example, when the Lord heard the Israelites complaining in the wilderness His anger was kindled. In another example, the Israelites yoked (worshipped) other gods and God was angry. God gets angry when His Children break His Commandments.
ReplyDeleteNumbers 11:1 - And the people complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, and when the Lord heard it, his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.
Numbers 25:3 - So Israel yoked himself to Baal of Peor. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel.
Judges 2:20 - So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he said, “Because this people have transgressed my covenant that I commanded their fathers and have not obeyed my voice."
Dear Holy, Righteous, Loving, Merciful, Kind, Compassionate, Forgiving, Gracious Heavenly Father,
Help us focus our eyes on Jesus Christ so that our thoughts, acts and deeds will be pleasing to You Lord God. We love You Lord and fear You Lord with awe and reverence.
1 Peter 1:3-5 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
