* Câu hỏi #559: Giờ đã biết rằng lời cầu nguyện của mình có thể làm cho Chúa nổi giận, chúng ta phải làm gì?
IV. Áp dụng
Kính lạy Đức Chúa Trời: con cảm ơn Chúa đã tỏ cho con biết rằng việc con cầu nguyện có thể làm cho Ngài nổi giận--không phải vì lời con đã dùng nhưng vì thái độ con đã có trong khi cầu nguyện (Châm-ngôn 28:9). Con cảm ơn Chúa đã nhắc nhở con rằng Chúa là Đấng Thánh. Ngài thương yêu tội nhân; còn tội lỗi thì không có lý do gì dám bén mảng đến gần Ngài. Con cảm ơn Chúa Giê-su đã đem con đến điểm này để nhắc con về lời Chúa dạy liên quan đến sự cầu nguyện--người cầu nguyện với một thái độ không phải sẽ không được Chúa vui lòng (Lưu-ca 18:11-12). Chúa ôi! Xin giúp con biết áp dụng bài học này vào trong lối sống của con hôm nay để biết rằng, vì sự cầu nguyện có hậu quả nghiêm trọng, con phải bắt đầu sự cầu nguyện của con với sự ăn năn. Con cũng cầu nguyện cho người nào đó có thể lắm hiện không biết sự khác nhau giữa tội nhân và tội lỗi sẽ biết chắc rằng Chúa rất yêu tội nhân--tất cả. Xin cho người đó có thể dạn dĩ đến với Ngài mà không chần chờ. Hôm nay. Amen

Dear Lord God: I thank You for revealing to me that my prayers may cause You to be angry--not the words I used but the attitude I had when praying (Proverbs 28:9). I thank You for reminding me that You are the Holy One. You love sinners but sins have no business in approaching You. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching about praying--the one praying with an attitude does not please You (Luke 18:11-12). O Lord! Please help me put this learning into my living today to know that since prayer has serious consequences, I will start my praying with my repentance. I also pray for someone who may not know clearly the difference between sinners and sins to be sure that You love sinners very much--all of them. She or he can comfortably come to You without any hesitation. Today. Amen

Lạy Chúa, Ngài biết lòng dạ con người (Giăng 2:23-25) và Ngài cũng biết lời cầu xin không thành kính của con người khi đến với Ngài, chỉ là những lời sáo rỗng. Xin tha thứ và cảm thông sự bất toàn của con khi có lời cầu nguyện chưa được kỉnh kiềng, mà chỉ mang tính hình thức, vội vàng! Amen!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Question #559 - The Bible teaches us that we must first confess our sins; we must humble ourselves before the Almighty God; we must repent; we must offer all glory to God. Prayer is talking with God, by confessing our sin, praising Him for who He is, thanking Him for what He has done for us, and asking Him for our needs and desires. The Bible shows us what to pray for and the Holy Spirit helps and teaches us to pray. God always hears the prayers of His children and answers with what we need at the right time.

Matthew 6:9-13 - Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. (For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen)

James 5:16 - Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
Dear Gracious, Merciful, Kind, Loving, Forgiving, Compassionate Heavenly Father,
Thank you for hearing our confession of sins, our prayers and our supplications.
Thank you for Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who voluntarily and willingly died on the cross for our sins.
2 Corinthians 5:21 - God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (NIV)
